One of my greatest blessings in life has been
some very special FRIENDSHIPS.
These friends have always been there whenever
I needed them... to help with my kids
when I was in the hospital, to bring over
a meal when I was unable to cook,
to talk...mostly listen... on the phone
until the wee hours of the morning...
I praise God for bringing these
precious people into my life.
"A friend loveth at ALL times, and a
brother is born for adversity"
Proverbs 17:17
What kind of friend are you?
The greatest evidence of TRUE Friendship is found
in LOYALTY... "Loving at ALL Times".
A TRUE Friend is THERE to help or comfort
in times of distress or personal struggles.
Don't be a "Fair Weather" Friend.
The above passage say's a friend "LOVES" at all times.
WHAT IS LOVE?
I Corinthians 13:4 through 7
"Love is PATIENT, Love is KIND, It does not ENVY,
it does not BOAST, it is not PROUD.
It is not RUDE, it is not SELF-SEEKING,it is not
EASILY ANGERED, it keeps no RECORD OF WRONGS.
Love does not delight in evil, but REJOICES
WITH THE TRUTH. It always PROTECTS, always
TRUSTS, always HOPES, always PERSEVERES."
Are you a TRUE Friend ?
Over the past year, I have been blessed to make
some very special new friendships.
We have laughed together...
We have shared our sorrows...
We exchange recipes & craft Ideas...
We pray for eachother's needs...
But our eye's have never met....
Only our hearts.....
I met these wonderful ladies through
"pen -palling"! Yes, the "lost art" of
POSTAL letter writing :)
It's hard to believe we have never met.
I feel as though I've known many of
these precious friends forever.
I have also made some wonderful new
friends via "the Internet"
My life has become richer
as a result of these new friendships.
God is helping me to see that FRIENDSHIP is
a "Gift". And that we should never take
our friends...old or new... for granted.

I would like to share something with you about my friend.
God sent her to me about a year and a half ago.
She is truly my guardian Angel!
She has laughed and cried with me.
She has given me strength, encouragement, hope and
guidance..and all the other wonderful treasures
that only a true friend can give.
She has the most beautiful voice, caring eyes,
beautiful family and home.
Now for the SHOCKER!
Though our hearts have been joined with LOVE & FRIENDSHIP
our eyes have never met!
She is my pen pal.
I had never written to a stranger before.
I truly believe that God, who already knew
the "trials" that lay ahead for me,
gave me the "courage" to write to a stranger.
Of All The People in My Life From Beginning to the end
You've been a special blessing, My Dear and Faithful Friend
You've filled my life with laughter, Shared sorows, joys and tears
You've stood by me and held my hand, Walked with me through the years
When I needed someone to listen, I Knew you would always be there
When I weathered the storms of life, You were always the one who cared
So in this circle we call life, From beginning to the end
I was blessed to have you beside me, My Dear and Faithful Friend~
There are so many of you who mean so much to me.
I love you like a sister, even though we have never met face to face.
We have met "Heart to Heart"
Sometimes I think that is why our friendship is so sweet and so strong....
It is not based on outward appearances or financial status. We love each other for who we REALLY are.
We love each other the same way that Jesus
loves all of us.
