Well
besides these people who have managed to achieve the tag and all that
comes with it of being a sex symbol in Bollywood we have others who
have tried really hard to achieve the same status but some how have
never tasted the sweet flavour of success.
They have done everything right from the time they made an entry but may be lady luck didn’t favour them or that they just couldn’t compete with the others.
Whatever the reason they had a short stint in this position.

and Saira banu were the actresses from the days gone by who tried to
achieve this tag with their performances in film.
However their ambition of joining this elite club was unfulfilled but they certainly left pretty good memories of them in tight minis and well draped saries with the pallo shifted to perfection to give a very titillating image of the actress.
But something somewhere just didn’t work out and they remained as aspirants.
Padma
Khanna was one of the actresses that certainly got the audience
salivating for more with her Husn ke lakhon rang song. The visuals were
so shocking that the audience was left in a state of amazement at how
the film got through the censors. But like the rest she failed to
achieve the tag of being a sex symbol and slowly faded into oblivion.
Today Priyanka Chopra though has also tried and has come pretty close to acquiring a membership to this club, but she hasn’t achieved it yet. May be she will in the time to come one can never say. However she is a good contender with her stunning looks and her bold attitude to experiment. She already has a huge fan following and one that is constantly growing by the day.
So we guess this is it for some of the top celebrities who have tried and managed as well as those who have tried and come close to achieving this sex symbol status and have eventually bitten the dust due to the competition they faced. Maybe in the days to come we will have more and more additions to this growing club of symbols who have since managed to change the face of Bollywood on the whole.
