When a middle age actor with a receding hairline slipped into those tight fitting colorful trouser, jacket and fancy shoes, full make up, various imported jet black wigs for hairstyles in Sivaji: The Boss, it transformed a 58 year old aging middle age ordinary man to a superstar and stardom.

He struck at the very heart and pulses of the nation; it marked the arrival of a superstar and a phenomenon called Rajnikanth. It was not only his acting, or gimmicks that was debated, but his transformation and the credit goes to the power of his make up that did wonders to the aging superstar's look and skin. By far he is one of the most famous superstars in India, his films and trademark moves are known by all. The personality is none other than Rajnikanth. Till today he churns out and stars in hit movies like Sivaji: The Boss.If we were to describe him it would go something like this, a person bursting with energy, superb style, an icon that makes a statement with whatever he does, a totally mod individual without any limits to what he can do. To most of us this is what the iconic Rajnikanth looks like. He may have enjoyed uninterrupted stardom for close to a decade and continues to make heads turn even at the age of 58, but has anyone ever wondered what he really looks like in real life?

Real Life::
Quite contrary to what we see him onscreen Rajnikanth is a totally different person, not in nature but by the way he looks. Now if we were to describe him it would be a dark skinned middle age 58 year old star with a receding hairline. This is in stark contrast to what we see of him on screen. No stylish hairdo, no dark glasses, and definitely no death defying stunts. The various tricks we love about this star were developed over the years when he used to work as a conductor on an ST bus service in Maharashtra, these were done to entertain.

Regarded as one of the hottest newcomers of her time with a sizzling hot body and looks to die for, she won the hearts of the audience at first sight, how can one ever forget the sensuous dance sequences that brought her into the limelight, yes folks this is Sameera Reddy. Just thinking of her name and images from movies like Naksha, Musafir and Darna Mana Hai come to mind in a flash. At this point Sameera went from being a shy college girl to one of the dazzling sex symbols of Bollywood. Her stunning image and sensuality was enough to get her noticed.But has anyone thought of how she really looks?

Real Life::
At times things can be so far apart that it becomes hard to believe that it is true. The same is the case with Sameera if we were to see her without her make up it would have been hard for us to recognize her. Totally opposite to her on screen image Sameera is far from being the hottest person around. If we were to describe her it would be like this, thin, lanky, frizzy hair, slightly unstable on her feet. An image completely different from what one would normally think, thus making us wonder if we saw correctly.

At her time and still is to some extent considered as one of the most intelligent actresses in Tinsel Ville. Even though some of her first few films flopped her role in comedy capers made her the talk of the town, with her stunning looks, long flowing black locks and her doe eyes she soon set about captivating the hearts of people. When we think of Sush we think of the professor from the movie Main Hoon Na, where she sizzled in those tight fit red flowing and graciously draped saris, this is the stuff of what dreams are made of, or so one would think. But what lies behind that mask of foundation cream and other cosmetics that actually give her that getup in all her movies?

Far away from what we think about Sush is the reality, if you see her without her usual done up look one would wonder how she was crowned as Miss Universe. Not that she is all that bad but all the same. In reality she looks just the opposite. Those features that make her who she is are a stark difference from what they are onscreen, her hair looks some what lifeless but thick all the same it has sort of lost its shine, her eyes sport heavy puffs and dark circles, her creamy complexion with a hint of weatish colour seems pale and a bit mottled in places, her luscious lips seem to have suddenly lost their appeal and are just there, the skin around her neck looks a bit saggy far away from the tight skin that stretches across her taunt face in movies. Maybe that’s what smoking has done to her? It gives an impression of an individual who is suffering from severe stress and other problems.

Amrita Arora:

From being a VJ for MTV to becoming a model for advertisements likes Ponds, Elle 18, fountain Pepsi and many others, she later entered the film industry following in the footsteps of her elder sister. All those MTV fans will find it very easy as we are talking about none other than Amrita Arora. With her sparkling eyes, a killer smile and a good complexion to boot, she instantly became the heartthrob of Bollywood. Just thinking of her name brings back flashes from movies like Awara Paagal Dewana, Red, Heyy Babyy and many others. Whenever asked about her goal she smiles with a glittering set of pearly whites and says happily that she is following in the footsteps of her famous elder sister. However does anyone ever think of what the stars look like behind the scenes? What do they do when not shooting? What are they like really?

Real Life::
Amrita Arora is younger sister to one of the fast emerging faces of fashion and beauty. However this didn’t have any great effect on Amrita’s life. If we were to see her then she would have passed off as just being another college grad student with nothing special. With her hair tied back in a pony tail she had the appearance of a thin lanky and nimble girl. One would never think that she was the same woman we see in the movies. Even today she is much the same without her makeup on she is just the way she was earlier, thin, lanky and nimble.
